Story of Magata
Magata is a Berlin-based studio by Marina Raffaelli creating sculptural objects and jewellery that explore the relationship between body and space.
Each piece is handcrafted in small editions using natural materials and traditional techniques, bridging softness and structure, craft and research. Rooted in ancestral memory, Magata’s heirloom objects invite connection, presence, and transformation.
The name comes from ammaliata — Italian for enchanted, wild — reflecting the intuitive, instinctive way each piece takes form.
Moving between Berlin and Florence, Magata is an ongoing study in motion, where design and ritual coexist in contemporary artefacts made to last.
